Press Release: ReefPoint Group Wins Contract to Support Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Transformational Readiness Modernization Efforts

WASHINGTON, July 5, 2022— ReefPoint Group, a Service-disabled Veteran-owned firm specializing in transforming government agencies with health IT and data analytics support, has won a five-year, $32M contract to help drive the Department of the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery’s (BUMED) readiness and modernization efforts.

Under this contract award, ReefPoint Group and its subcontractors Guidehouse and Ancilla Technology and Services Inc. will help BUMED navigate organizational change without interruption of the significant progress in achieving transformational modernization of expeditionary health support systems to meet Warfighter readiness requirements.

“We are eager to continue building on the progress BUMED has made over the past two years,” said Jeremy Toton, CEO of ReefPoint Group. “The team we have built has decades of experience working in support of Navy Medicine or the Military Health System. Each of them will continue their service by helping drive innovation and transformation for BUMED.”

ReefPoint Group is leading BUMED’s efforts to modernize and transform its infrastructure and portfolio of programs in executing its readiness mission, which includes ensuring the medical readiness of service members, and sustaining a ready medical force that is capable of providing exceptional care anytime, anywhere. Using its repeatable and scalable Agile program and project management methodologies, ReefPoint Group can rapidly respond to these emerging requirements.

“There is significant work ahead of us to help BUMED through this process of transformation,” said Paul Pruden, Military Health Portfolio Director for ReefPoint Group. “Several ReefPoint Group employees have deep professional ties to BUMED, and we are excited to continue supporting BUMED’s commitment to naval warfighting readiness.”
