Vice President of Business Development 

“The Vice President of Business Development will define and implement a strategy to ensure continued growth in a highly complex government contracting environment. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Business Development has direct responsibility for the overall pursuit of new business, the identification and capture of new contracts, and the marketing of Hendall to potential customers. 

DUTIES 

  • Identify, qualify, capture, and close deals through proactive relationship-building with potential customers 
  • Establish and maintain a pipeline of target opportunities that have been qualified through initial conversations with government stakeholders 
  • Conduct ongoing and routine outreach to potential clients and represent Hendall at meetings, conferences, and other externally focused events. 
  • Present deal-specific intelligence, including customer statements regarding needs and requirements, to executive team 
  • Lead business development activities for new business opportunities from premarketing through proposal submission.. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • At least 10 years of directly applicable experience 
  • Proven success identifying, influencing, responding to, and winning Federal government contracts 
  • A track record demonstrating the ability to establish relationships with Federal government officials…

  • Recent experience supporting one or more HHS Operating Divisions in a customer-facing role

Vice President/ Division Director 

“The Division Director is responsible for identifying, winning, and overseeing new business in the Federal Agency marketplace, while building a pipeline for capture management initiatives. The Division Director needs to have a proven, successful sales, capture, and operational management record in the Federal Sector. A hands-on approach to building new business is essential. The Division Director will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. 

DUTIES 

  • Identify leads for new business opportunities and develop and execute capture strategy to secure identified work 
  • Monitor government acquisition notices to identify those that align with Hendall’s capabilities and goals 
  • Maintain relationships with various government leaders to identify, pursue, and secure new client opportunities… 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 8+ years of relevant business development background in the federal sector 
  • 5+ years leading the capture lifecycle with a demonstrated track record of identifying and qualifying opportunities and managing winning proposals successfully driving new revenue 
  • 5+ years of project and/or program management background 
  • Demonstrated knowledge with the FAR, BPAs, IDIQ, contract vehicles, teaming agreements and the government contract lifecycle…

Proposal Manager
