CDC awards NCHS VSCP contract

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has awarded a 5-year $2M National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) Vital Statistics Cooperative Program (VSCP) contract to the American Samoa Government. The contract was not competed, citing only one source.

Department of Health has primary responsibility to lead and coordinate the Territory-wide response to COVID19 Pandemic. However, American Samoa Government departments and agencies, and private sector partners, undertake a series of actions in support of Territory pandemic influenza preparedness goals.
