Cognitive Medical Systems recruits former HHS Senior Medical Informatics Officer as the company’s new Chief Health Information Officer

Cognitive Medical Systems, a specialist in standards-based Clinical Decision Support (CDS) software and healthcare IT infrastructure, has acquired Julia Skapik as the company’s Chief Health Information Officer.

Skapik’s previous roles included:

  • Senior Medical Informatics Officer with HHS
  • Staff Physician at Inova Health System
  • AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow at ONC
