Leidos adds Senior Vice President & General Manager – Health Solutions

Milad Bahrami, a highly seasoned expert in Federal Health IT with over two decades of comprehensive experience across both public and private sectors of the federal government, currently serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager – Health Solutions at Leidos. In his role as the Senior Vice President and Business Area Leader for Health Solutions within the Leidos Health Group, he oversees a team of 3200 health IT professionals dedicated to delivering top-notch solutions and services to vital entities such as the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

His extensive purview encompasses pivotal areas, including healthcare IT, advanced data analytics, life sciences, cloud operations, and digital transformation. Milad Bahrami’s previous roles include a significant tenure as a Division Director with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Food and Drug Administration, signifying his profound expertise and commitment to the field.

At Leidos, Milad ensures the enhancement of IT effectiveness and the achievement of enterprise-level results by collaborating closely with executive leaders across various government health agencies. His industry excellence and outstanding contributions have been acknowledged through prestigious accolades, such as being selected for the FedHealthIT 100 in 2018, 2019, and 2020. In recognition of his enduring impact, Mr. Bahrami was also inducted into the FedHealthIT 100 Hall of Fame in 2021. Moreover, he received the NIH Director’s Award in 2017, a testament to his significant contributions to federal health initiatives.
