Identifying and Addressing Healthcare Deficits

The amount of available Healthcare data is increasing exponentially. When managed correctly, this data is not only valuable for individual patient care, but can be utilized to address large scale health trends or care deficits.

Today we speak with Karen Chan from National Government Services on how bridging gaps in care is possible with the right technology, data, and strategic approach. Healthcare Agencies, such as the HRSA and CMS, are now leveraging data analytics to identify and minimize gaps in care. National Government Services leads an initiative to combine available Federal data and emerging technologies to determine and address care deficits.

Under her leadership in 2021, National Government Services was awarded the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Health Center COVID-19 Vaccine Program Management Office contract, positioning National Government Services as one of a few organizations selected to support the Health Equity mission of the Biden-Harris Administration’s National Strategy for the COVID-19 Response and Pandemic Preparedness. A longtime advocate for the underserved, Ms. Chan leads an initiative within National Government Services to combine available federal data and emerging technologies to identify and address care deficits in the Northeast.
