The revamped Business Development team will execute the company’s strategic growth plan as the organization pushes into the midtier and gains market share across the Federal market. Ardent’s key hires detailed below join an exceptional group including long-term Ardent employees Bryan Casey, Law Enforcement and Immigration and Lindsey Plumley, Foreign Affairs:

Joshua Kolchins, Vice President Homeland Security: Joshua will lead a DHS portfolio including Headquarters, Customs and Border Protection, Coast Guard, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and Intelligence and Analysis. Prior to joining Ardent, he spent the past 20+ years leading DHS-focused Business Development efforts at companies including CSRA, Exelis and General Dynamics – Advanced Information Systems.

Steve Smagin, Vice President Federal Civilian: Steve joins Ardent after 30+ years successfully leading growth and operations in the Federal civilian market at 1901 Group, KeyLogic and SRA International. Steve will lead Federal Civilian growth focused on General Services Administration and the Department of Commerce.

Josh ‘JB’ Barr, Vice President Federal Health: JB is charged with Ardent’s investment and expansion into the Federal Health marketplace. With over a decade of success at companies including Aurotech, SMDI and the Thought Leadership Group, JB will lead a portfolio consisting of HHS and its 11 operating divisions, and DHS FEMA.
