VA RFI: Time and Attendance System (VATAS) Operations and Maintenance (O&M)

In July 2010, VA awarded a contract to replace the legacy time and attendance system referred to as the Enhanced Time and Attendance (ETA) system with a new system to be referred to as the Veterans Affairs Time and Attendance System (VATAS).

All VA time and attendance functions have been moved to VATAS and full deployment was completed in July 2018.  Time and attendance functions for all VA employees will now be managed in VATAS. VATAS is interfaced with HRSmart and Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS).

The Contractor shall provide a hosting environment for the VATAS system and a web environment for user access to VATAS training modules.  The Contractor shall provide VATAS services to include software development, and operations and maintenance to support ongoing sustainment of VATAS for approximately 500,000 employee timesheets per payroll period.  In addition, the Contractor shall provide transition services required for any changes in VATAS hosting environment(s) that occur upon award of this TO as well as over the course of the performance period. The Contractor shall ensure uninterrupted service to all VATAS users.
