Duties
As the Director, Data and Systems Group, CMCS, you will provide executive leadership and direction to a portfolio of data and information technology programs with a value of more than $3 billion annually. Operated by both the Federal and State governments, these data and information systems support the day-to-day operations, financial management, policy development, and integrity of the Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Basic Health Plan (BHP) programs. With an annual expenditure of more than $400 billion, Medicaid, CHIP, and BHP provide health insurance coverage to more than 70 million adults and children in the United States.
You will establish a vision for and lead the development of an integrated Program Management Plan to drive, coordinate, and manage information technology and data projects across CMCS and with CMS organizational components who are stakeholders in Medicaid, CHIP, and BHP.
