HIMSS Las Vegas 2021 for the Federal Health IT Executive
HIMSS21 is a VACCINATION REQUIRED event for all attendees, exhibitors and HIMSS staff and as of July 28, masks are required.
Please check here before you book for additional changes as HIMSS notes: “This webpage will be updated with information about HIMSS’s plans for health and safety protocols for attendees, exhibitors and staff at HIMSS21.” Please also note CDC guidelines around travel and the definitions provided by HIMSS on fully vaccinated.
Note as of July 28: The 2021 HIMSS Global Health Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas will require masks for all attendees, exhibitors and HIMSS staff on the HIMSS21 campus and in all public spaces….On Tuesday, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued updated guidance recommending that vaccinated and unvaccinated people wear masks in public indoor settings in counties with substantial or high COVID-19 transmission rates.
For nearly 60 years, HIMSS members and Healthcare professionals—from CIOs and senior executives to providers and payers to IT consultants and entrepreneurs—have attended this premier Health IT conference. While G2X cannot predict as of the writing of this what in-person or virtual attendance is likely to be, vendors and agencies alike are confirming their participation. With representation from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Veterans Affairs, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Defense Health Agency, many will want to ensure they take part in one way or another.
Included here are three things to help you make the most of your week: Key Sessions to attend; a list of booths you may want to visit; and some of the planned social events. Orange denotes new additions.
Note: This is Version 2.0 of this list. Watch for the day by day program the week of the event. Have something to add? Reach out and let me know at Julie@G2Xchange.com.
