Your major duties and responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating staff and serves as expert advisor to specialists and Division Director in design, evaluating, planning, developing, implementing and maintenance of technically complex hosting infrastructure technologies, especially in the enterprise-wide hosting/cloud systems.
- Leading and participating in the investigation of new and improved server, storage, software, advanced file system and other hosting technologies and/or services and recommends adoption of developments that will enhance the effectiveness of the services being provided in meeting both current and future customer requires.
- Driving low value manual driven work to automated workflows, CI/CD pipelines and full automation/orchestration.
- Designing and continually modernizing a stable and reliable cloud solution capability.
- Providing infrastructure guidance to support application modernization; managing and implementing hybrid cloud infrastructure technologies.
- Serving as the technical Cloud Service Manager for secure enterprise cloud services including Infrastructure as a Server (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
