NIH intends to award contract for EIS licenses

The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price to purchase Executive Information System (EIS) System Licenses and Maintenance renewal, with THUNDERCAT TECHNOLOGY, LLC.

The renewal of the ThunderCat Technology EIS allows the CC departments and participating NIH institutes the ability to quickly access and analyze information across a broad range of hospital functions.  EIS is undergoing enhanced functionality to allow more agile functionality for users to import data as well as provide predictive analysis reporting.  EIS will include Patient Quality Performance Indicators data; upgrading to a more recent version of MicroStrategy; more robust data reporting and interactive user training (e.g., computer-based training).

This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
