VA to award contract for One Card That’s All

Notice ID: 36C10X22Q0100

“Synopsis

The U.S Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisitions, & Logistics (OPAL), Strategic Acquisition Center-Frederick (SAC-F), in accordance with Public Law 109- 461: “Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006” specifically, the “Veterans First Contracting Program” outlined in 38 USC § 8127(c), intends to solicit and award a single source contract to Ibility, LLC, 12154 Darnestown RD 393 Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878-2206, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) for the procurement of a replicable process to create digital business cards and the implementation of a pilot to demonstrate the process on behalf of VA Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Innovators Network (iNET).”

“Purpose and Objective

VA spends an excessive amount of time and money to order paper business cards for its employees, only to have to reorder when an office location changes, or an employee has a new title. Digital business cards have proliferated the market as a low-cost, eco-savvy alternative to traditional business cards and allow employees the freedom to easily update their contact information in a simple mouse click. The contractor shall deploy a digital business card solution in a small multi-site pilot and provide a replicable process that additional VA medical centers can use to deploy at their sites.”
