“Financial Services Center (FSC), Financial Technology Service (FTS) provides Information Technology oversight and support to all elements within the FSC providing electronic commerce support to FSC as well as external customers. The Chief of the Electronic Commerce Branch in the FTS provides technical authoritative advice, guidance, and support on systems design and development, database administration, systems administration, security, electronic commerce development and support.”
Responsibilities:
- Supervises an Information Technology (IT) team that supports an electronic commerce organization.
- Lead, coordinate, communicate, integrate, and accountable for the overall success of the program, ensuring alignment with agency or enterprise priorities.
- Manage the internal relationship with information technology (IT) process owners supporting the service, assisting with the definition and agreement of Operating Level Agreements (OLAs).
- Perform needs analysis to determine opportunities for new and improved business process solutions.
- Evaluate computer equipment regarding selection or utilization and design systems and software for accomplishment of work through computer technology.
