USAID has issued an RFI for best practices and innovative ideas for the development of the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) next generation Global Health Next Generation Supply Chain (GHSC) design. This RFI provides an opportunity to review, comment on, and contribute to the enhancement of USAID’s future GHSC programming. The ultimate objective is to design a new, forward-looking global health supply chain for USAID programs that leverages best practices from both the public and private sector. USAID is seeking information around two main content areas:
Efficient, cost effective procurement of pharmaceutical, laboratory, essential medicines, and other medical supplies for USAID-supported programs in low-and-middle-income countries around the world.
Strategies for building strong in-country capacity, developing resilience and agility in the supply chain, and increasing the management and governance capacity of local leadership.
