VA issues RFI for IT Asset Management ServiceNow Configuration Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Service Management Office (SMO) seeks to procure implementation and configuration services for IT Business Management (ITBM) modules; Software Asset Management (SAM) Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Application Portfolio Management (APM), Technology Portfolio (TPM) as well as integration of the modules located on the VA ServiceNow platform.

The Contractor shall implement and configure SAM, HAM, APM and TPM as defined in the subsections below using ServiceNow best practices.

The Contractor shall perform engagement preparation and identify VA expectations and requirements by facilitating workshops for each module to review the process guides, out of the box (“OOTB”) forms, fields and workflows, and identify the gap between the OOTB features and functions versus VA’s current state process.

The Contractor shall support VA in the writing, refining and prioritizing of user stories required to support the agreed upon process flow, data and form requirements, and shall manage the configuration, release and testing of Themes, Sprints, Epics, and Stories in coordination with the VA Project Manager.

The Contractor shall support VA with User Acceptance Testing, go-live planning and remediation activities.
