The Supervisory Management & Program Analyst (Chief, Data Management) position has expertise in Data (Analytics, Visualization, Reporting, Management, Governance) and Program/Product Management to support Loan Guaranty Service (LGY), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). LGY is responsible for administration of VA’s Home Loan Benefit program nationwide and Specially Adapted Housing grant program for eligible Veterans residing throughout the world.
Duties
- Provides leadership for the continuous improvement of all LGY data assets and capabilities including analytics, visualization, reporting, management, stewardship, and governance.
- Manages and develops a team comprised of VA FTE actuaries, management analyst, program analysts, and management analysts and provides direction to VA contracting staff to deliver upon LGY’s strategic plan, Long Range Plan and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and special projects. Engages stakeholders throughout the development process. Provides organization expertise in developing measurable objectives and supporting various teams.
- Coaches, counsels, provides feedback on the work to maintain positive communication, engagement, and transparency with staff individually and collectively. The incumbent’s communication efforts focus both on performance and behaviors.
- Provides proactive, well-planned communications of all types and media to program participants, LGY leadership, and various internal and external stakeholders including complete and accurate data end products, recommendations, regarding LGY business needs, self-serve program analytics capabilities and program analysis are provided to program participants, field stations, VACO staff, and others…
