Clinical Workflow for Virtual C&P Exam
The following items must be included:
- Provide telehealth functionality needed to complete Acceptable Clinical Evidence (ACE) C&P exams.
- Application must enable VHA to distribute ACE and VVC work that can be accomplished geographically distant from the Veteran
- Application must be both mobile and web-based and provider must be able to use on any device.
- Collaborate with the VA to determine exact minimal functionality needed to complete the pilot and prove the baseline solution is possible. This may include functionality of CAPRI itself.
- Collaborate with the VA to determine exact minimal integration needed to complete the pilot and prove the baseline solution is possible.
- Perform discovery in collaboration with the VA on the ideal integrations that would be needed to take the solution past MVP into VISN 10’s ideal state. These integrations would be planned but not executed in the MVP. However, once complete they would likely be reusable at other VISN’s and ease the move to a national roll out.
- Allows customizable workflows to route C&P exams to all available sites in VISN 10.
- Must create and deliver workflow analysis reports based on the meeting with VA subject matter experts.
- Must be web-based solution that allows for seamless deployment and scalability with no user workstation integration required.
- The software application must have scheduling functionality in the MVP, and discovery of integration into other scheduling systems at the VA will also be performed as needed.
- The software application must be scalable and can be used in other VISNs and or deployed nationwide.
- Must interface seamlessly behind VA firewall and meets all VA OIT requirements to interface with current VHA C&P systems and future Cerner EHRM deployments.
- Provides data visualization tools to identify trends, outcomes, and additional items requiring follow up.
- Offers ability to complete virtual C&P exams in VISN 10 within the platform.
