Description
The DHA SMS Program fills an efficiency gap for the DHA in planning, programming, and budgeting real property maintenance and repair decisions.
A large percentage of DHA installation real property maintenance funds are spent on maintenance and repair (M&R) of their buildings. There are tighter resource constraints on funding and personnel, inspection and preventative maintenance programs for critical building systems and components at many installations.
REQUIREMENT DETAILS:
2.1 Objectives: The overarching objectives of the support to the DHA SMS program as described in this PWS are to:
- Provide data analysis and field verification services to the DHA SMS Program
- Provide data analysis/reports on data residing in the DHA SMS database
- Provide field verification of data gathered on DHA assets
- Provide reports/analysis as required to all levels of the DHA
2.2 Scope: Services include program QA services, data analysis, reporting, and field verification to ensure the DHA SMS database is always kept complete and usable. Work will be for facilities that include but may not be limited to medical facilities ranging from clinics to medical centers with Trauma Level I, II, II, and IV care, active and on-going healthcare operations, Central Utility Plants and Central Energy Plants that often operate on a 24/7 basis. Facility types include but may not be limited to medical, dental, veterinary, warehouses, administrative, medical research, biological safety level (BSL) 1-4 laboratories, etc…
