HHS IHS RFQ: Encoding Software for Clinton Service Unit

Description

The Clinton Service Unit (CSU), Indian Health Services (IHS) has a requirement for encoder software.

This annual software for medical coding will produce accurate ambulatory care (outpatient only) CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, coding guidelines, edits, and CCs/MCCs for CSU. This software will be an annual license with one-time annual implementation and training.

The contractor will provide CSU encoder software with ten (10) one-year licenses plus four (4) option years for ten (10) licenses. The base year shall include a one-time annual implementation and training fees. The encoder software shall provide the following elements:

  • ICD-10-CM I PCS & ICD-9-CM code search
  • CPT®/ HCPCS code search
  • Medicare code edits (OCE, MCE, NCCI & MUE)
  • Database with Reporting Tool (coding management & productivity reports)
  • DRG validation assistance
  • ICD-9-CM to CPT® Crosswalk
  • Proprietary relational code & modifier edits
  • Medical Necessity LCD/NCD Edits
  • AHA Coding Clinic for ICD-10-CM / PCS
  • AHA Coding Clinics for ICD-9-CM
  • AHA Coding Clinic for HCPCS
  • AHA ICD-10-CM / PCS Coding Handbook
  • AMA CPT Assistant®
  • ICD-10-CM/PCS & ICD-9-CM Official Coding Guidelines
  • CMS MS-DRG Definitions Manual
  • ICD-10-PCS Appendices and Reference Manual
  • Merck Manual Professional Edition
  • Channel Publishing Expanded ICD-10-CM Table of Drugs & Chemicals
