Summary
The Supervisory Health System Specialist, Director, Monitoring & Analytics acts as an executive level conduit for VHACO program offices and field leadership to lead the coordination, development, and implementation of data and reporting streams across the system. S/he uses expert knowledge of and specialized experience in the management of health care delivery systems to support and enhance VHA operational initiatives.
Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Leads the HOC Monitoring and Analytics team in managing the required administrative and operational functions.
- Has expertise in health data management, resource management, personnel administration, customer relations management, business reporting, system design, and planning.
- Participates fully with the Executive Director in problem resolution and decisions on reporting and analytics, program development and realignment, manpower use, organizational structure, and other health care data management activities.
- Works across the organization to develop and propose data and information collection and reporting approaches that contribute to improved healthcare delivery.
