Description

The Office of Performance Analysis and Integrity (PA&I) manages and enhances the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Established in 1997, the EDW is the source for all data and information about Veterans benefits data.

The EDW has a mature Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and has achieved Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 in the past. In 2002 VBA placed VBA EDW into full production. Since 2002, the EDW program has continued in the maintenance and operations phase, based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SDLC, as reported to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) per Circular Number A-11. Consistent with industry best practice, EDW utilizes a testing environment, a pre-production environment, and a production environment, with controls and processes for migrating new development to production…

The Contractor shall provide the technical services required to sustain EDW applications to include Project Management, Data Warehouse Management, Advanced Analytics, Tableau Server Administration/Tableau Desktop Administration, Technical Collaboration Support, Lessons Learned, Executive Orders and Special Projects, Architectural Enhancement, and, if exercised, optional tasks for Cloud Migration and Transition Out Support. The Contractor shall provide management, enhancement, integration, implementation, maintenance, modernization, and infrastructure support for EDW applications. The scope also includes enhancement and maintenance of business intelligence capabilities and predictive analytics. The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the tasks and deliverables described in this PWS.
