WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Chief Nursing Officer, you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Leading and providing subject matter expertise to ONC initiatives agency-wide that intersect with nursing practice, nursing informatics, nursing workflows and information needs.
Serving as the principal representative to the nursing community in addition to interacting with other health professionals on behalf of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC).
Ensuring that strategic plans, data analyses, and policies related to the use of health IT factor in nursing related needs and perspectives.
Championing and otherwise supporting the implementation of clinical quality and safety projects and systems that support efficiency and effectiveness of patient care.
