Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of organizational growth functions BD/Capture to mature and maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities with targeted federal agencies including but not limited to NIH, FDA, CDC, DHA, Commerce, and DHS, leveraging existing relationships with government agencies, and industry and partner engagements.
  • Develop, mature, and prosecute key opportunities to yield a $30M/quarter pipeline of submissions, and successfully booking $36M or greater in annual contract value (ACV) bysubmittingaminimumof3x-4xthatvalueannuallyin qualified/competitive bids.
  • Work closely with management, SMEs and delivery teams to develop win themes, proof points, and differentiators as part of the overall capture process.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required; Master’s degree preferred; Technical or business degree specialization is strongly preferred.
  • 12-15 years of related experience with Small-mid-size government contractor
  • 5-10 years of senior level business development/capture experience/success selling progressive IT/Scientific services and solutions to Federal Health/Federal Civilian agencies including NIH, FDA, and DHA. Prefer a candidate with a strong technical background to sell technical services and solutions to current and prospective federal customers at the Program Office level and above, and to teaming partners.
