Responsibilities:
- “Coordinate and conduct meetings with Military Health Sector (MHS) customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices
- Support overall strategic planning and linking pursuits/capture activities which support the business development metrics for awards, submits, and pipeline
- Understand market trends along with technical direction of the MHS customer
- Communicate appropriate value proposition
- Advise MHS growth organization on teaming discussions for both prime and subcontract
- Train new company MHS strategy and growth hires on the MHS customer organization, partner ecosystem and contract vehicles
- Develop client deliverables such as responses to Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Statements of Work (SOW) or other related presentations
- Develop financial solutions for proposed client work based on client requirements and competitive marketplace analysis
- Market the winning proposal to the client
- Be recognized as a domain expert and provide fact-based, unbiased leadership
- Lead the design of bidding strategy for the client work
- Develop and analyze competitor technical solutions, Price-to-Win, price strategy, risk mitigation, and competitive landscape dialogue with executive and senior leadership”
Qualifications:
- “Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, relationship management, or capture
- Minimum of 7 years of senior executive medicine experience in the MHS
- Strong understanding of and relationships with key MHS leadership, particularly regarding NDAA17 (and subsequent) directed MHS reform and consequent transformations across the MHS
- Experience in client relationship management, including executive offices
- Experience in demonstrating knowledge of the Federal procurement system
- Proven track record of establishing and growing relationships with government clients”
