Responsibilities:
- Serve as recognized expert in the field of data science.
- Lead the design and implementation of a data science and analytics technology platform using multi-modal, moderately large-scale data.
- Serve as a technical consultant on contracts for scientific and information technology services.
- Coordinate and collaborate with appropriate government agencies, international funders, and private organizations engaged in scientific data generation, management, and analysis. This will include extensive interactions with external advisors and stakeholders in the research community and experts in the private sector.
- Provide leadership to a product-focused software development team that is charged with designing and implementing strategies for developing, deploying and supporting analytical products and tools.
