The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) issued Sierra7, Inc. a contract award for St. Cloud Veteran and Guest Internet Access (VGIA) services. This contract will expand and modernize internet-based communication capabilities for Veterans and their families and guests during their stay at VA’s St. Cloud Medical Center complex. The award was made through VA’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology-Next Generation (T4NG) contract vehicle and calls for turnkey VGIA solutions inclusive of technical support, infrastructure engineering, call center support, network monitoring, web filtering and landing page development, hardware and software maintenance, and project management support.
Starting in April 2022, and over a period of performance of one base year plus four option years, Team Sierra7 will expand and modernize existing VGIA services across multiple St. Cloud healthcare facilities. These wide-ranging services will further enable and improve internet access for Veteran, family, and guest users, allowing them to stay connected with personal support networks and giving them the technological means to continue to manage finances, research employment opportunities, and continue educational pursuits during their stay. The St. Cloud VGIA provides a robust and continuous wireless internet capability which serves the communication needs of thousands of health system users per year.

Sierra7 will leverage critical VGIA deployment and expansion drawn from experience delivering similar requirements at multiple VA health system sites to meet the needs of the St. Cloud VGIA contract.
