10 Federal Health Events to Have on Your Radar

As we head into the final two months of the calendar year, and holiday season, here are a number of networking events to help you re-connect with colleagues and industry partners, more in-person events, and several industry-focused event days to help you position for 2022 with agencies including HHS, FDA, NIH, CMS and VA.

BARDA Industry Day 2021
When: November 3 – November 4
This Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) Industry Day is an annual conference intended to increase awareness of U.S. Government medical countermeasure priorities and to interact with BARDA and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR).

FY 2022 FDA Virtual Small Business Fair
When: November 4
Focused on learning about doing business with the FDA, this event includes morning speaker sessions and afternoon matchmaking meetings.

HHS Teleconference Vendor Outreach Session (VOS) Veterans Only
When: November 9
Registered vendors must meet at least one of the NAICS Code criteria provided for a Prime appointment at this month’s session.

NIH Virtual Small Business Industry Day
When: November 10
Save the date for this virtual small business industry event focused on Strengthening Relationships with Small Businesses.

Women in Agile – San Antonio Fall Mixer
When: November 13
This in-person event, postponed from Sept 18., promises Meet & Greets and collaboration about cultivating the Agile community in San Antonio.

NCMA Tyson’s Power Packed November Dinner
When: November 16
This event promises conversation focused on the ability to turn strategic theory into successful, detailed tactical approaches that move organizations forward.

NCMA Washington Dinner Meeting: An Evening with GSA Procurement
When: November 17
This dinner meeting and networking event also features GSA’s Associate Administrator for the Office of Governmentwide Policy and a Senior Procurement Executive as keynote speakers.

NCMA Tysons Small Business Happy Hour
When: November 18
This networking event promises an evening filled with opportunities to connect, to learn more about Government opportunities, and to meet potential teaming partners and agency representatives.

Health Equity & Social Determinants in Federal Healthcare with HHS
When: November 18
Join HIMSS NCA for this presentation from the Health Equity Office of Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) on the topic of Health Equity and Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) followed by a panel discussion with representatives from HRSA and other Federal organizations.

AFCEA NOVA Virtual Thanksgiving Happy Hour Networking Event!
When: November 18
This month’s AFCEA NOVA Networking Event, close to the holidays, is sticking with that theme and asking everyone to set their Zoom background to their favorite Thanksgiving food.
