DHA awards $44M 8(a) direct award for Market Transition Integrated Office (MTIO) support services

D7 LLC, doing business as Dawson, Colorado Springs, Colorado, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a total potential value of $44,324,176 on a 8(a) direct award basis to obtain Market Transition Integrated Office (MTIO) support services. Congressional mandates for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) have directed the MTIO to assume global responsibility for Military Medical Treatment Facility IT management on Oct. 1, 2021. The contractor will provide a variety of program and technical services in support of the DHA, J6, MTIO and other organizations. The services will include program management, enterprise personnel and resources planning, enterprise schedule management, performance management, change management support services, operations center facilities support services, technical support services, administrative support services, and subject matter expert services. This support will enable the MTIO to support the more than 200 market sites that have upwards of 600 staffed facilities worldwide with more timely and dedicated responsive support as a whole. The contract has a performance period of 12 months from Sept. 30, 2021, to Sept. 29, 2022, and includes the Federal Acquisition of Regulations 52.217-8 Extension of Services clause for a potential six month extension. DHA will obligate $19,352,111 of fiscal 2021 operations and maintenance funds for the base year. The place of performance is Colorado Springs, Colorado.
