2021 Disruptive Tech Change Agent, Ken Rubin, is using what he learned while working with the Department of Veterans Affairs to lead the way in improving the quality and consistency surrounding patient-centered care and interoperability within this customer experience. About Ken Rubin

Mr. Rubin is the Executive Director of the BPM+ Health community, a nonprofit Community of Practice focused on advancing the sharing of workflows and clinical pathways. Mr. Rubin has been involved in HIT for over 20 years, having served as the Director of Standards and Interoperability for the Veterans Health Administration, the Chief Architect for HP Enterprise Services’ Federal Health Portfolio, and multiple roles in industry SDOs. He is a Fellow of HL7 and a Research Associate with the University of Utah Department of Biomedical Informatics.
