UCS received an award under Pool 4 (Research & Development for Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, and Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences) as a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB). Two additional contracts, OASIS SB Pool 1 and the OASIS Pool 1 8(a) SubPool, which focus on Engineering, Professional, Administrative, Management, and Scientific services, were awarded to their 8(a) and SDVOSB joint venture, Allied Technologies, LLC. Allied Technologies is a joint venture between UCS and Gentech Associates that brings a combined 35 years of experience supporting DoD and Federal civilian clients through GSA contracting vehicles. Both Pool 1 and Pool 4 include capabilities that have been core strengths of UCS’ since its inception in 2000 and they look forward to bringing this experience and expertise to new and existing Federal customers.”
