The VACO IT Support Services (ITSS) FOS environment is primarily a Microsoft (MS)/Intel-based distributed computing infrastructure desktops. VACO ITSS FOS is responsible for the maintenance and support of desktop operations, to include the maintenance and daily desktop and laptop operations for seven field program offices and their remotely supported staff. To accomplish this function, FOS requires on-site Contractor technical support, as well as remote support to users located at off-site locations. Support services consist of responding to Computer Associates (CA) Services Desk Manager requests, monitoring and maintaining systems and refreshing laptop/desktop systems, monitoring and responding to security issues, performing monthly patches on all systems managed by FOS.
