Description
PEO DHMS strives to deliver world-class technologies in the health information field. Our goal is, where appropriate, for our technologies and conduct to be indistinguishable from those of leading private-sector technology firms. In order to achieve this, we have undertaken several transformation efforts to mature the organization’s posture, technologies, and business practices. One transformation initiative is the enhancement of the digital workforce fully enabled to excel in their work through a modern digital workplace. The novel coronavirus pandemic has not only demonstrated an additional need to embrace this digital workplace, but it presented more barriers to achieve a comprehensive and successful transformation. These barriers are especially pronounced as the PEO begins to depend on close, native collaboration with the rest of its partners in the Federal and non-Federal health information domain. Further, as production capacity expands, PEO DHMS must be able to attract and retain the highest level of talent in its workforce. Potential members of this workforce expect and demand a frictionless, seamless digital workplace experience.
With this reboot, PEO DHMS has relooked at its approach. There is an immediate need to focused on delivery of great mid- and back-office tools as the current tools contracts are expiring. The WP3.X reboot kicks back off to address the immediate need with the remaining efforts addressed at a later date.
To start off the reboot, the attached document is providing an overview of the current and identified new tools sets along with a select set of questions posed to industry to assist in finalizing the requirements, schedule, and evaluation criteria.
