HHS taps Outreach and Coordination Lead

Mitch (Kost) Chaney, an accomplished industry leader with a track record of advancing health information technology policies, has assumed a new role as the Outreach and Coordination Lead at the Department of Health and Human Services. In this capacity, Mitch serves as a government relations and public policy professional responsible for coordinating policy development, outreach, and execution with industry and federal stakeholders. Mitch’s objective is to drive and inform the successful implementation of health IT across the care continuum.

Prior roles include:

  • Special Advisor to the National Coordinator for Health IT – HHS
  • Acting Chief of Staff – HHS
  • Special Assistant to the National Coordinator for Health IT – HHS
