Summary
As a Supervisory IT Specialist (Security), GS-2210-14, you will serve as the Deputy Director, determining how CCSQ can most effectively achieve its current and future objectives while building new capabilities into HCQIS systems.
Duties
- Serve as a technical expert and leads technical projects for specific, comprehensive aspects of the Health Care Quality Information System (HCQIS) related to enterprise architecture, IT security and security architecture, and database design.
- Identify operational and process improvements for all components of the computing environment and ensures the health and operational viability of all HCQIS systems to further the Agency’s mission.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Agency-wide security technologies, including public key infrastructure, intrusion detection, authentication, and encryption, for integration into HCQIS’ IT security architecture.
- Serve as the technical authority and provides oversight for the architectural design of the HealthCare Quality Information System (HCQIS) Data Center.
- Lead and implements a strategic vision for HCQIS through personnel improvements and system modifications.
