Duties
- Providing day-to-day direction to OPAE senior staff involving the development of Agency policy, program requirements and evaluation standards for many management programs.
- Improving business services, practices and systems through effective and efficient strategic thinking, critical analysis, resource, and performance management, change leadership, policy development, communications, and customer-relations management.
- Collaborating with other key HRSA officials in providing guidance and executive leadership for OPAE responsibilities.
- Participating in the formulation of policies and objectives with regard to resource allocation decisions which affect the organization’s operations and establishing procedures for tracking progress.
- Initiating, coordinating, and/or responding to requests for intra/interagency participation, coordination, and interaction with other HRSA, HHS agencies and with outside constituencies on matters of mutual interest.
