Duties
As an IT Specialist (ENTARCH) you will:
- As a Senior Engineer for Cloud Solutions, responsible for the overall technical solutions from requirements gathering, strategic planning, security planning, implementation staging, and decommissioning in support of the modernization required to take existing capabilities from current state to future state in the CDC Cloud.
- Plan and develop system program requirements to achieve specified outcomes, capabilities, and architectures for data management.
- Provide expert technical guidance, interpretation, and implementation oversight of applicable cyber security policies, processes, and practices to ensure continued operational availability, confidentiality, and integrity of enterprise architecture for applications, systems, networks, and data. Prepare guidance papers on security policy issues affecting the organization.
- Design cloud architectures and infrastructures to support CDC public health mission. Assists CIOs with approach for migrating their systems to cloud.
