Duties
- Serve as Deputy Director, to the Director of Benefits and Employee Services Office.
- Plan, organize, and oversee the activities of the Office, developing goals and objectives that integrate organization objectives.
- Establish, revise, or review policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organization design for the staff.
- Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Direct, coordinate, oversee and evaluate work directly or through subordinate supervisors and team leaders.
- Advise staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher-level management or headquarters and ensure reasonable work equity among units.
- Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with CIO management officials. Meet with key customers and management officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve significant problems that arise.
- Ensures subordinate units provide customer guidance and training.
