Summary
This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology, IT Capital Planning Group (ICPG), Division of Vendor Strategy and Management (DVSM).
As a Supervisory IT Specialist (Systems Analysis), GS-2210-15, you will provide advisory services to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Office of Acquisition and Grants Management (OAGM) on procurement strategies for all OIT procurement efforts.
Duties
- Communicate with the Departments Small Business Coordinator to ensure IT procurements adhere to established socioeconomic goals.
- Provide technical advice regarding transition issues and advice on improving contractor operations.
- Monitor funding levels and burn rates, manages award fees, conducts regular oversight of contract provisions and recommends corrective actions when necessary.
- Exercise significant responsibilities in dealing with highlevel officials and negotiates status of work assignments and impact on other operations.
