This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.
Duties
As a Supervisory IT Specialist, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
- Collaborating with HHS components to evaluate and approve IT investments, monitor adherence to Departmental/Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) policy and architectural standards, and share best practices.
- Collaborating with the leadership and members of the HHS Chief Information Officer (CIO) Council.
- Establishing, maintaining and improving internal controls, IT procedures and systems.
- Providing vision, leadership, and management to ACL IT enterprise and staff, including strategic planning, budgeting, development, implementation, evaluation and oversight, collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Conducting advanced project management and reviews that includes considerable risk and change management, quality control and resources management.
- Managing and supervising the IT activities of the ACL.
