As a Lead IT Specialist (DATAMGMT), GS-2210-14, you will serve as a Team Lead and program expert for the design, development and implementation of CMS’s Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) operational policies, standards, and procedures.
Duties
- Leads the modernization, development, implementation, and operations and maintenance of Agency-wide advanced systems in the area of data warehousing and BI, to use new technology and database platforms.
- Advises, assists, and represents the Office and CMS before other Federal, State, and local governmental agencies, intermediaries, carriers, and private sector organizations to achieve working agreements pertaining to BI.
- Provides overall technical expertise, direction, and guidance on issues related to project activities for the BI and data warehouse technology environments, audits, contractor oversight, and user support.
- Coordinates the preparation, presentation, and communication of work-related information to the manager; represents the division and group in meetings with other components, organizations and the private sector, with respect to assigned areas.
