We are seeking a Senior Proposal Manager that has a successful track record of partnering and leading winning proposals.
Key Role:
Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of proposal development for up to a billion dollar opportunities, this individual will work collaboratively with capture managers and technical SMEs to plan and manage compliant and compelling proposal content for federal government Defense, Space, Civilian, Health, and Intelligence Agencies. We initiate proposal development well in advance of the RFP release to strategically plan and prepare.
Our proposal team includes senior proposal managers, proposal writers, graphic artists, proposal coordinators, desktop publishers, and editors; and we have comprehensive libraries of searchable proposal content.
While we are working remotely, we have a cutting-edge proposal room that are equipped with advanced video conferencing technology, monitors, write-on walls, and production printers. Responsibilities include developing a master outline and compliance matrix, creating and managing the proposal schedule, drafting mock-ups, working with writers to plan and organize proposal content that is easy to evaluate and score, coaching and mentoring writers, chairing color reviews, leading adjudication of reviewer recommendations, coordinating with pricing and contracts, and overseeing production activities.
Our senior proposal managers proactively identify and resolve issues and gaps, keep senior leaders informed, collaborate across the company, and leverage our wide range of corporate capabilities.
Requirements
- 8 + years of experience as a Senior Proposal Manager for federal government proposals
- Track record of managing and winning large, complex proposals
- Ability to coach writers and manage proposal content
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior leaders, capture managers, and proposal support teams
