As a Supervisory Public Health Analyst, you serve as the Division Director, Hospital State Division within the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy and provide the full range of supervisory duties, leadership, and administrative oversight to the Division, including monitoring the progress of the Division in achieving work plan objectives and programmatic milestones.
Your major duties and responsibilities include:
- Serving as Division Director and provides executive leadership and managerial direction necessary to implement federal rural public health programs and activities to support HHS, HRSA, and FORHP’s goals and objectives.
- Serving as principal advisor on Division programs and participating in senior staff meetings and negotiations to explain and/or resolve complex issues concerning the implementation of Division programs and/or initiatives.
- Participating or leading in the development of program and policy proposals for FORHP. Identifies policy shortfalls and changing policy requirements, proposes appropriate policy revisions, and monitors resultant policy implementation.
