As a Lead IT Spec (Policy/Planning), GS-2210-14, you will serve as a technical authority, program expert, and team lead for the ongoing governance program for CMS’ IT projects to ensure they are executed and managed effectively.
Duties
- Plans, organizes, and leads all IT Policy and Governance integration points with the formulation, presentation, and execution of the CMS IT budget, including the IT budget call letter process, IT budget recommendations Operating Plan.
- Develops and reviews appropriate analyses, procedures, and reports for CMS management regarding cost, schedule, scope, and performance to ensure effective ongoing selection, control, and evaluation of IT projects.
- Plans and leads CMS IT policy development, implementation, and coordination with the CMS and HHS CIO.
