Duties
As a full member of the health care systems Senior Management Team the Deputy Director has responsibility for making and implementing administrative decisions directly impacting patient care and the operations of the integrated health care system. Duties of the position include but are not limited to:
- Serves as the direct line supervisor to service chiefs in both administrative and clinical areas;
- Responsible for the overall operating budget which is projected to be $900 million in 2023;
- Work collaboratively with other senior leadership members in formulating, implementing and evaluating policies, plans and procedures for the facility;
- Coordinate operations and ensure resources are utilized in the most effective manner to optimize patient care;
- Develop plans (with target completion dates) to ensure that action has been taken to correct deficiencies cited by accrediting bodies;
