As a Supervisory Social Science Analyst (Deputy Division Director), you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Serving as the Deputy Director of the Division of Science and Public Health Policy, incumbent directs the activities of assigned professional staff in the division.
Setting priorities for social science research, evaluation, and analysis projects and ensuring overall technical soundness and quality, effective communication and dissemination of data analyses and research results.
Directing data analysis on a broad range of public health and science policy issues. Briefing the highest officials of the Department on results of analyses and research, and the evaluation of programs and proposed policies for informed decision making.
Providing leadership and policy guidance to professional staff on the development and implementation of plans, and methodologies for data collection which would aid in the analysis of a broad range of policy initiatives and evaluation of programs which affect public health and scientific issues, programs, and policies.
