ABOUT THE POSITION
Supports the Director in oversight of all administration functions, including human resource planning and management, financial management and analysis, performance monitoring and reporting systems management, action item tracking, data request coordination, space planning, and any other related activities to assure the fulfillment of the overall administrative standards and process for the office. Supports the Director in planning and implementing policies and initiatives related to behavioral health statistics, program evaluation and/or epidemiology. Executive managerial and diplomacy skills are required to perform a variety of high-level policy coordinative, consultative, advisory, and management services. Provide executive leadership in the establishment of short and long-range goals, objectives, and plans for substance use disorders and ensures consistency with goals and objectives established by HHS, the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), other federal agencies and the health community. Provides advice to the Center Director in coordinating and establishing policies, procedures, and standards for cross agency program initiatives i.e., data analytical designs and strategies, evidence based program evaluation and health information technology.
