VA seeking Strategic Planning and Development Chief

Strategic Planning and Development Chief is responsible for directing VA ECHCS’s organizational strategic planning and process improvement services, as well as innovative strategic and service line planning efforts, development activities to include education, deployment, and sustainment of Lean Six Sigma while working with the Health Care System Director and the entire Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement both short term and long term strategic goals, priorities and plans.

Duties

  • Serves as the Strategic Planning and Development Chief for VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System under the direction of the Director.
  • Responsible for monitoring administrative performance measures, special studies, surveys, projects, planning, evaluation, statistical analyses and general staff support.
  • Work independently and/or with minimal direction on daily operations and special projects assigned by the Executive while meeting required deadlines.
  • Provide liaison with all Care/Service Lines, managing a variety of meetings, groups, action teams, etc. Often identifies the need for such conferences/meetings based on knowledge of the organization’s programs and operations as well as programs in related offices.
  • Plan and organize and determines how to use results of proceedings.
