HHS ACA OCIO seeks Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC)

Summary

This position is located in the Department of Health And Human Services, Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), located in Washington, District of Columbia.

Duties

  • Serves as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
  • Assists the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in developing collaborative, mission focused, achievable strategies, and long-range plans within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
  • Assists in supervising the support staff.
  • Manages the ACF Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data by planning, analyzing, developing, implementing, maintaining and enhancing information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Develops and implements security policies and procedures for the effective management of security events of interest reported both internally and externally.
  • Develops system concepts and works on the capabilities phase of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) and translates technology and environmental conditions (e.g., law and regulation) into system and security designs and processes.
