Press Release: DMI Secures Five-Year Task Order with National Institute of Health

DMI, a global digital transformation solutions company, today announced it has been awarded a five-year task order to continue to provide support for the National Institute of Health’s (NIH), National Institute of Health’s Intramural Database (NIDB) enterprise-wide system. The contract focuses primarily on the system that facilitates Annual Report data collection for the Intramural Research Program (IRP) of the NIH, as well as a collection of data in several areas required by Congress.

While the NIH is charged with medical and behavioral research for the nation, the IRP has a distinctive research environment, leaning on resources and expertise across the program to perform interdisciplinary studies. Data collaboration between agencies and industry experts is critical with regards to enhancing internal and external scientific collaboration.

This partnership provides support for NIDB, empowering NIH scientists, external researchers, and the public with information about what the NIH IRP scientific community does, including bibliographic data.

  • Enhanced visibility and capability to conduct internal and external scientific collaboration within the NIH IRP scientific community
  • Full life-cycle application development, TeraScript programming, web development, communications/outreach efforts, and consulting from DMI experts
  • Secure IT infrastructure and support, including website maintenance, database management, support for systems administration, users and documentation, and production support from the DMI team
